New tools you've bought recently?

A good portion of why I go to auctions and stuff is my brother farms and I'm the designated fabricator and mechanic for most things (a lot anymore is just guiding my brother in the right direction), as many know if you bought all new when starting farming you can go broke in no time flat... he hasn't done that but it takes a bit of repairing 50-80 year old equipment and sometimes modernizing things or reinventing something else to do it... plus I like tinkering obviously so it works out :)

Yeah, I'm trying to get better about acquiring stuff but I grew up in it garage saleing with my grandma, been to auctions since I was tiny, it's hard to turn down good deals but I'm working on it :)

85, looks like you're on a good start, just need you some butyl tape or rope to get there.

I'm the pot calling the kettle black... Lol

I'm aware everyone is just ribbing :), if I didn't have so many future projects "in stock" I'd get a lot more done! that and if I didn't drive old junk that always needs work...

New side locker, toolbox, ordered w/ free delivery. A wheel dolly for shop garbage can and 20 gallon oil drain tank for lift are ordered. Already got the new welding cart and plasma cutter and tall jack stands for the lift. About to go look at a bead breaker, plastic pry bars, and u-joint press. Yall are a bad Influence

Went to garage sales and to the Habitat for Humanity Re Store today and picked up some things, the main new to me tools were a 8" mini shear/brake, battery terminal crimper and butane soldering iron. The little brake was $30, crimper $1 and soldering iron $0.50 so I don't think I did too bad, might be missing a couple little things from the description I found online on the brake but it's listed for $150...

I need to get a break. I have some future projects that a sheet metal break would be real handy. The problem is that I have no place to keep it...

I'm going to pop one out and see how wide I can go vs what is available before I buy the tape.

I’m kinda half looking for a 4-6’ box and pan break. Would be stupid useful for me.
