My name is Chris, and I'm here to learn a little bit more about Rangers. I'm in the market for one (3rd gen 5-speed with less than 150k, if anyone is wondering) so i decided to do some research, and this seems to be the best forum out of all the forums i've visited.

I hear these trucks are extremely reliable, and that's what i'm looking for most of all. I'm also keeping an eye out for common problems with these trucks.

Once I buy one, it will be my daily driver. My other car is a Mazda RX-8, which is slowly becoming a track car. I also have a 1993 Accord, which is my daily driver for right now. It's a wonderful car, but I just need something with more versatility. I have stuff to haul/weld/fabricate/etc.

This will be my first truck.

i had my 97 ranger for 5 years now and got from my father at 150,000ish miles on it and now it has 205 thousand miles and i use it every day to work with and it is pretty much stock. it is the best truck ive owned :headbang:
