Hey everyone I offically own my grandparents 92' Ranger XLT. I've always wanted it because its got way more tourqe than my 85' 2.3L Mustang.

This truck spent most of its life in Flordia which I love because the isn't any body rust anywhere! The chassis is has surface rust all over but I spent all day today rattle can the chassis, leaf springs exc....

The ranger is an 1992 XLT, with the 4.0L and I think 8.8 rear end.
The engine has about 130,000 miles on it. The engine was overhauld about 90,000 miles. Runs real smooth now lose of power.

The trans. is an automatic with overdrive. The trans is starting to shift rough so I bought some lucas trans repair fluid. I'm not going to flush it since it has never been done before.

The paint is real nice on the sides of the truck, but the hood is starting to chip peal, and the roof is really chiping badly. ( new paint job in the future.)

The exhaust it a new replacement with a hi-flow muffler. Everything is new from the cat. and back.

...What I would like to do to my truck is......
Try and get a nice exhaust note
New freash factory paint job, with replacement sticker stripes down the side.
Clear headlights?
New rear "flush" bumper.
Buy a new front lower valence and install fog lights. Like the STX Ranger has.
New Speakers
Wheels and tires. (SVT Mustang wheels, chrome)

I use to drive a 85' Mustang Lx. 2.3L, that is in rough shape. (gave it to my lil' brother)

I have some pics posted up in my profile and I'm goona see if these work here.

Welcome to TRS Mark...

Beautiful truck...love the colour...

Not sure what that calibration sticker is about, but I know I have one on mine too...what I don't have is the one for the recommended tires...not even sure if they put them on 88's...

I'm sure someone on here knows what that sticker is for though...but you may need to ask in another forum...like the General Discussions...
