New to the ranger world

1st car was a 71 torino 500. Owned everything but ford since then, I have a 94 Toyota 4x4. The frame is rusting out on me so I am having to set it in garage to repair it. So I had to have a replacement vehicle. I found a 93 Ford Ranger XLT my aunt had. She was asking $1,500 for it. Looks great, My 94 Toy is completely rusted underneath and the rear bumper is held to gather by the chrome plate. I really like the Ranger. It is like a new truck compared to my toy, Both from same area and the toy has less mileage than the ranger,. It is unbelievable the shape difference to two vehicles are. I do have a problem with the ranger 5speed. it makes noises in 1st thru 3rd. Sounds like the power wheel motors. Any ideas what it is. And the clutch is new but the clutch is a work out to push in. My toy is like super easy to push the clutch, is that normal for the ranger? Glad to find a place like this, BTW the key cover on my old torinos trunk I had is on the instrument panel on my toy .

ya want a workout try a vette. thats pretty standard. noise sounds like pilot bearing.

Thank for the reply. Now I have to try and get some fluid in the tranny, I was told to get a nozzle end and put on the oil bottle. It has to be a little low. Has leaked a little since I have had it, Not been driving much in last 2 years. only 200 miles put on it, Glad I found this forum!
