I just bought a 95 4x4 xlt manual with 4.0. I was told the truck has a 4 inch lift but im not so sure it has a lift. My friend bought one the same day that noticeably has a lift. Currently my truck has 32 11.50 15 tires on it. I dont see any type of beam drop brackets or other lift kit components on it. The front coils look compressed at the top of them. And the rear has what looks to be a stock lift block with an incorporated bump stop pad. It rides pretty stiff and does not feel at all like my friends. From what i have found from searching the www that the only way to run 32s is with a lift. Did rangers in this year come with a higher option as far as height goes? I dont want my truck to be as tall as his. If my friends is a 4 inch lift then i would like a 2-3. I would like to get away from the budget boost stuff because 90 percent of the time they ride like shit. How do i find out if my truck is lifted? I would like to keep it where it is at height wise but improve the ride quality. I can tell the coils are stuffed and not flexing the way they should and the rear shackle angle is not right and the leafs are clapped out. Where can i buy a 2-3 inch lift with new rear leafs. I dont care for blocks or add a leafs. Id rather buy a lifted spring that puts the shackle angle to where it should be. Im not new to offroading. I have done sandrails jeeps and others but this is my first run in the ranger world and would like some experienced advice. Thanks in advance.
