whats up everyone, names sean and i scooped up a 97 mazda b2300 over 6 months ago and finally got around to seeing what these trucks were all about and i guess you can say ive been having some fun. got it bone stock from the original owner with 22x,xxx on the clock, ran good and the price was right so i went for it

first things first, body wasnt bad,but wasnt where i wanted it to be, my best friend is an extreme minitrucker and ive always wanted to "shave" something lol

hell since the tailgates off, might as well see how that ass has been holding up

not bad, whole bunch of grinding and some lovely p0r15 later and frame looks better..fixed a few dings and layed some black/satin clear down

bumper just didnt flow with my partially finished tailgate, so goodbye bumper, hello free metal scrap

dammit, on my way to a parking lot stunt sesh and fuel cut!

okay if my fuel pump went bad i might as well replace the motor right? enter HO 302

then i found a T5 trans for a 4cyl and started thinking..people v8 swap everything around my area..truck making power with a v8 is considered the norm so found something for that 4cyl t5 and back to craigslist 302!

Destiny! off the bike and let daddy work, you can practice standups later

okay now im excited, out of the way Destiny, gotta get this tired little guy out

okay its out...more red?! now that just wont do...

okay, after some more grinding,sanding,cleaning,prepping,painti/..you get the idea..i was ready for my new heart

okay thats in,clears good without that pesky heat box..that stuffs for the daily driver, not #mazdatruck!! now iwth motor in i wanted to get a mockup of my little intercooler

time to play with power tools!
starting to figure out where everything needs to be,layed a little more painnt down

well i already got my lovely centerforce clutch so i bolted up my trans and connected my clutch line to....shit. forgot about that. after research,a trip to the parts store for a s13 nissan 240sx slave and the ugliest array of fitting and adapters youve seen and BAM! cable to hydro conversion for $20

i like to jump around and find mini projects throughout my big projects, so i ditched that useless heat/ac control and found a home for my blue lit boost gauge..it was really an excuse to break out metal tools and play

Ebay leds are CHEAP!! $5 later and my dash matches the boost and soon to be oil and temp gauges down below

..i still have alot on my mind and plenty of other things to cover but just wanted to drop in and say hi and show progress so far. i have suspension, wheels, hids, exhaust cutouts, and tons of other goodies waiting to go in...but for now i figured id share, cheers!
