I have a 99 Ranger 3.0L auto super cab 4wd. 223k and I Love my truck, I just had the transmission rebuilt and I am wanting to put a 5.0L in it, will the trans mount up to it? The 5.0L is coming out of an Explorer AWD

Welcome! The transmission behind your 3.0l (M5OD-R1) has a different bellhousing bolt pattern and will not mate to the 5.0l. You will want an m5OD-R2 transmission.

Ok thank you for the information, So would the Explorer transmission mount up to the 4wd transfer case instead of the AWD transfer case?
