New to prerunners

Well, I have a 88 ranger with a mildly built 302 and a t5. It has been a street truck since me and my dad built it, but I am starting to get an itch to make it into a PreRunner but keep it as a daily driver. I am clueless about PreRunners honestly. What size tires are a common size, and what kind of suspension are most of you guys running? Suspension or body lifts? Any help would be appreciated.

Very few if any prerunners will have a body lift, Most prerunners have mid or long travel, but most of this will depend on how much time and cash you are willing to put into it.

You have a good base to start with, do some reading here on TRS and on the Dezert Rangers forums and youll learn and possibly buy some stuff to get you started with a very nice prerunner.
