New to me Ranger

Hey guys, just bought my first Ranger and figured this would be a great place to ask questions and learn how to fix it when the time comes (hopefully not too often). Glad I finally found an essentially rust free truck which is near impossible in Maine and even happier it is a 4x4 Ranger!

Welcome fellow Mainer! I saw your username and then the picture of your truck and I was about to make a crack about that not being a Maine truck.

I feel compelled to ask, how the heck did you find a truck that clean in Maine? I hope you shook the guy's hand and tipped your cap.

The crazy thing is, it was on marketplace for two weeks and I was the first person to even go look at it and it's a VERY clean 100,000 mile truck. I think maybe most people looking at it didn't realize it was 4x4 because it doesn't say it on the truck and he didn't mention it in the ad. All you have to do is ask! I had gone to look at an '08 Ranger with 100,000 miles and it had some rust starting on the bottom of the doors, rear fenders and the rockers had been replaced. The engine had a loud tick but still the guy would not budge on his price so I passed. He sold that truck the next day and I bought mine for the same price.

Twice the truck for the same money.
