Hi guys, as the title says I bought a 94 xlt 4x4 with some problems and was wondering if someone can help me get it on the road. From what I could look at in the snow covered ground and what I feel when it drives it sounded like a good deals. The problems I know of are it needs a windshield(not a big deal,Know some people), but I can't figure out why my drivers window only goes up about 2 inches from the top but runs smooth up and down to that point. The brakes seemed good and hard when I was driving it, the only thing that Is wrong when driving is it would sometimes make a slight clunking sound when driving rougher roads. Also it has 211,000 kms it that alot for a 4.0.
Thanks for the help in advance.

window is most likely falling forward. the clunking requires much more input. some vehicles just make noises and thats the way it is.

the clunking over bumps sounds like it could be your calipers rattling. there are steel pins with rubber bushings inside them and after a while the rubber wears out and the pins become loose and the caliper rattles. its a very simple fix, if this is your problem.

dont know what that clunk is(probally a bushing needing replace in the ttb suspinsion, ball joint, etc.), but another clunk i would check for is lock her in 4wd on a gravel road and lock the steering wheel left or right and listen for clunk in the front end, a good sign its about to change the CV-joints up front.

the 4.0L motors are fairly reliable. 211K kms isnt bad. thats only about 131K miles. take care of it and it should take you to well beyond 200K miles or 325K kms.

definately need more details to help diagnose that clunk.
