hi i have a 1996 4x4 ranger it has a 4.0 auto trans. i took the front differential off and found my pinion gear has no teeth:icon_surprised:. I am looking for a ring and pinion but every place i look has listing for back are they different? oh yea it is a Dana 35

Welcome to TRS.

If you need to know what ratio to get for the front your rear diff should have a tag on it that Will have that info on it.
The gear ratio should be in the top set of numbers.
