Hi, I have a 5sp 2.3L 2004 Ranger with 3.73 diff. My factory tires are in need of replacing (P225/70R15). I'd like to go with a smaller tire for some performance boost. I can't afford to screw up on this purchase, What tire size should I get?

I don't want to overshoot and kill my fuel economy, but can live with a couple mpg loss.

Thanks

I would think down to a 25" diameter or so tire would be fine (your 225/70R15s are just under 27.5")
