ive been absent for quite some time and have some new things to show ya.
i traded in my dakota r/t for cash+this 2000 ranger xcab flareside. Its got a 3.0 with a 5 spped and its 2wd. i averaged 26.7 mpg on my first tank and im now on the second. love it so far. (it doesnt have 1/4 the balls the dakota had though)
Alright now this was my "score" its an 88 ranger from arizona. 2.9 5 speed,
2wd. reverse and 5th didnt work. all i did was remove the shift boot and there was a piece of metal that wouldnt let you move the shifter over to get it into those gears. It has virtuallyt no rust underneath and zero on the body. Im tearing it apart to start painting it soon. runs/drives very nicely. also averages over 20 mpg.
