new starwars movie

packing my tent.....need to get in line:icon_bounceblue:

There are so many SW novels that could be made into movies. The franchise is far more than just Luke and the 'droids. Tales of the Bounty Hunters alone would make for several movies. And an in-depth back-story of the Fett family would be sweet. Then there are the newer storylines....it goes on and on.

+1, there are a bunch of good books out there, I am actually rereading the bounty hunter series right now. The Rogue Squadron series would make a good mini-series, the Thrawn trilogy was great, the two Outbound Flight books were really good too... it just goes on and on. I bet I have over 40 of the books so far.

Aside from the semi-annoying kid and Jar-Jar in the first move, I actually almost prefer the first series (episodes 1-3) to the second (episodes 4-6) The whole time period just seems more interesting for some reason, even in books. The graphics and more plausable technology add to it in the movies.

As long as George Lucas doesn't have full control I'll go see it. He's got good ideas, but he'll make a terrible movie. I still have nightmares about the 4th Indiana Jones.

I have one whole 12-foot section of the "book-room" dedicated to SW novels, and it's getting close to being full. It's all hardback, except the Rogue Squadron series. (I even found "Splinter of the Mind's Eye" in hardback!).

They're all in SW-timeline order, too.

+1 so true.

Ya, Star Trek (TOS). Just is the best. Star Wars, just never got into it. Seen em, but after about 45 mins, get boared.
But then i like the old sci fi. Forbidden Planet, The day the earth stood still, Santa Clause vs the Aleins.

I just might see the movies when they come out. I have Epsiodes 4,5,6 on BetaMax.

Is it bad that I like star wars and star trek? :icon_twisted:
and as for the movie, I'll wait till it comes out on Green-Ray first :icon_rofl:
