Hey guys my B3000 extended cab(same interior as the Rangers) did not come with speakers in the rear. Is there still a wire that leads to the speaker location back there because when I feel the rubber protection thing I think I can feel a small wire inside it.

Would it be hard to route wire if I had to? If there is a wire there, would it be easy to hook up to a speaker?

Last thing: are the door panels hard to remove? Front and Rear?

Thanks

i know with drivers side its super easy all you have to do is take out the screwed separate the cover from the window crank (if applicable) take out that screw which is a torx then take out the screw in the arm rest then the one thats in the lower corners of the door then lift up from the bottom then the cover should pop off its perches and presto all done putting it back on is reverse of the removal.

i have a 89 ranger. what i did is i swapped out my stocks in the back for some kickers, it was just a matter of cutting the old wires and connecting them into the box my new kickers are in.

so for your case i would believe there is a wire for installation somewhere in there. check under your floor board? i don't want to lie to you or anything though i just barely started doing mods to my truck

(but my set up is really.... temporary? its not professional at all. yet)

Thanks for the responses so far! Please tell me more, does anyone know about the rear speaker situation, does anyone share this scenario?

I don't know if there is a wire ready for the rear door area. But I do know that the rear door panels are a major pain to remove. It was super frustrating for me. Good luck.
