Here to introduce myself, I'll be buying a 2000 XLT 4x4 Tuesday. Figured I'd register and get to reading and planning on what I'm going to do to it. It will be a spare fun vehicle that I'll use for some off roading and taking to the woods during hunting season.

welcome....gonna be a hawg recovery rig?

going to stay stockish with bolt ons or willing to get out the welder? :icon_welder:

Mostly deer recovery and the occasional hog. Up till now I've only owned cars, currently own a 2013 Focus ST, so when I'm up in GA hunting if I shoot something I have to rely on my grandfather or his best friend to come load the deer into their truck. This isn't usually a big deal as we usually go out as a group in one of their trucks but a lot of mornings it is too cold for them so I go out alone and can only get so deep with a Focus.

It will be bolt on for the most part. I plan on a mild lift, torsion keys and rear lift blocks(or shackles), maybe a body lift too and then some 31s.
