I searched to see if anyone had already posted these but I just though I would throw up a few pictures of the new radius arms I just got. they are pretty beefy that's for sure.

Wow. I had heard they redesigned them. They must still be selling quite a few.

Those look beefy that's for sure.

Do they seem obnoxiously heavy? Is the inner, backside boxed in as well?

Looks like they are trying to mimic the SuperDuty arms.

Post up some more pics when they are installed!

Just got around to installing these arms finally. Truck has been off the road all winter, so I took it into work today to get some stuff done. Wasn't happy when I found out that the drivers side arm does not fit! It hits the pumpkin and wont come in enough to get the back end into the drop bracket. I ground down some metal on the I-beam but it wasn't enough. I called Skyjacker and sent some pictures to them - hopefully will hear back from them tomorrow.

Anyone else install these and have problems?

I've had to grind in that exact same spot on numerous radius arms (not just Skyjacker, but Rancho's as well). Maybe there's some variability in the diff pumpkins there, I don't know, but it's definitely not something unique to Skyjacker's new arms.

However it does look like they missed the dimension by over a mile on your arm... :icon_confused: I've never had to grind more than about 1/8" or so. I'm curious what they'll have to say also.

They are on the proper sides, correct? (driver & passenger)?

I had to grind mine (the previous style) down a bit too. Seems like a common problem.

I talked to Skyjacker today - seems a few of the early sets had this problem. I am going to try and modify the arm a bit to fit and if that doesn't work they will send me a new set.

Still waiting for my arm to come back from the fab shop:icon_welder:

Rubicon is in 3 weeks...........

You had to pay to have somebody fab a "fabbed" arm? I could see grinding it down yourself so you could get your truck up and running. But if skyjacker isnt paying for that bill I would request another.

None the less when I made my arms I had to grind a slot for one of the bracing webs on the 3rd member no biggie...

I ended up "clearancing" my arm as the fab guy was too busy. Installing it on the truck tomorrow - will see how it goes.

Arms are in - but now my Skyjacker shocks hit the radius arms and I cant put the lower bolt in the shock  Somebody is getting a phone call in the morning that`s for sure.

I know it's been awhile but did you get everything all straighted out?

If so got any pics of them installed?

I did get the arms on the truck a week before we did the Rubicon. I ended up cutting out the back of the arm so it would clear the diff. I didn't get any pictures of that though. The standard Skyjacker nitro shocks hit the lower part of the arms so I hard to change the shocks. I got the new Skyjacker monotube shocks that mount upside down, so that solved that problem.

The arms on the truck - the sticker didn't last very long.....

As far as impressions of the shocks and arms - the arms are great, the shocks did not impress me. They would stop working after about an hour or so of driving on the trail. Keep in mind it was 38 deg's out but I feel the old nitro shocks worked much better.
