Its time for my ranger to get a new pair of rear shocks, but I'm unsure what to get. In a few weeks I'll be installing the Camburg 5.5 lift, but I'm not sure if I should keep the stock size rear shocks or get longer/shorter ones?

Been looking at the Bilstein HDs, but I've no idea.

lift it:headbang: then shock it;missingteeth; Edit: bilsteins are what a lot of the guys recommend

if you lift it youll probably want longer shocks as doorgunner said lift it the buy shocks and i recommend bilstiens as well its usually what ford puts on if you have them install them anway

Bilsteins, KYB Monomax are good ones too. Course the stand by's for lifts aren't bad either.

Agreed with what has been said. Bilsteins are great shocks. You won't be disappointed.

The kit is on its way, I opted for single shock (figured the extra $320 wasn't worth it for the dual shock mount since it's only gonna be an occasional offroader). Once I get the front end all done, what should I do about the back? Should i be leaving it stock or getting new blocks to lift it?

I would definitely go with an aal before new blocks. Thats I will be doing once I get around to my lift.

i was considering deaver leafs(but damn the price!), but the aal stiffen the back rather than soften it, right?
