New rims and tires!!!!

just got some Goodyear Wrangler Authority a/t and they came with some soft 8 cragar rims. got them for $400 of craigslist. the tires are brand new and i got 5 of them and all 5 have the cragars on them they are 31x10.5-15

Ouch dude, what happened to the door? You gonna fix it? I had those goodyears before, very good choice. Not so great in melted snow/mud tho.

hahaha i dont see the resemblence? haha. nice ride! the only owner before said his bro backed into it while it was open. dumb shit! haha i not sure if i want to fix it cus i would probably have to get a new door. i might be able to fix it a little bit but then i will have to paint it again cus when i bend it i bet the paint will chip off, not sure though. i dont have to worry about the snow cus i live in florida but they arent good in the mud? ill see next weekend and say for sure hahaha

Well as you can see I live in the desert so I don't encounter it too often either. They do okay in small amounts of mud as long as you keep on the gas, but deep mud mixed with snow = no. You should check out your local junk yard. They might have your door.

ok cool thanks for the info, but i will let ya know how they do sunday when i go mudding with some friends and it has been rainin!!! i might check it out but right now the next thing i want to get is a real axle with 4:10 gera ratio for these big tires so i can keep the mileage, i havent gone threw a tank with them so i will c what i get with them.

Are you gonna go whole new axle or just re-gear? What axle are you running now? You might try to find an explorer 8.8 with the 4.10s.

i think getting a whole new axle would just be easier but not sure i havent looked into it that hard. i dont rememeber the exact number but i think its 3.40 or something. its pretty low so with these 31 is would be best if i got better gear ratio

Well mine is a 4x4 so a little different, but i'm in the process of regearing and it's gonna cost me about 1500 bucks. And is your axle the 8.8 or 7.5? Cuz if it's the 7.5 and you're planning on doing a lot of wheeling I'd look for an 8.8 with 4.10s, especially one from an explorer because they have a higher spline count.

its a 8.8 i dont go off roading that much and i keeping my gas mileage is on my mind.
