I got myself a new-to-me ride this week since I sold my '05 Ranger.
I picked up a '96 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Club Cab. What makes this nicer than my Ranger is it is paid for.
The only thing wrong with it is the common rust on the bottom of the drivers door and the rear bumper where it was pushed into the bed.
The transmission was rebuilt about 50,000 miles ago by a VERY well known shop in my area. They put a nice shift kit in it and added a large external transmission cooler. It shifts hard and runs good.
I had to put new tires on it as well, so I went with a 265/75/16 BFG All-Terrain.
Specs:
- 1996 Dodge Ram Club Cab SLT Laramie
- 4x4
- 5.9L (360 cu.in.) V8
- Automatic Transmission
