body lift it, and some 33s and shell be real sexy

For low budget mods: corners, taillights, headlights, billetgrill, some rims from craigslist. There is all kind of things out there that you can do that will not cost too much.

First things I would do that are relatively cheap. Paint the grill shell the same color as the truck, a billet grill insert and clear corners. Those are the first things I did to my 05 and it made it look way cleaner. I'd also add some XLT mirrors. They're pretty cheap off ebay. Besides the mirrors, those are the first few things I did to my 05. I like the way it looked, no for everybody though.

I'm digging the Factory rims, Killer man!! :icon_thumby:

free, remove air box snorkel let that motor breath a little better

I would do the grille paint/insert like Maverick said, but I don't care for look of clear corners compared to amber. I would keep an eye out for rims, I found mine for $75 at a swap meet... they are not perfect but look great from 5' away.

Here is my 2006

I found some '97 Explorer Limited rims for $75 locally. Clck for bigger pics:

x2. i would drop it two inches, put some cobra r's on it.

I say lift it, from the looks of your picture you have quite a bit of land to have fun on. Then again...I could be wrong and actually be not that much land lol

thanks for all the ideas. i plan on ditching the plastic box but it was free at the time so i thought i'd try it and see if i wanted one like that or one that sits down in the bed
i haven't had much time to work on it lately been out of town . hope to be back soon:icon_cheers:

Salvage yards are a great place to find parts cheap! check around and see what you can find but some rims, tires, billet grill, maybe some KC lights and she will be lookin sexy in no time!!!
