afternoon and glad to join the site!
Names Chris and i am a happily married deputy sheriff of soon to be 3 years
main reason i joined is i just got a 1994 ranger 4.0 4x4 in trade and going through fixing some issues. heres a list of whats going on.
4wd transfer case motor seems dead
truck used to be auto and was converted to 5 speed
has no snap throttle response and does not set a cel for almost 10 mins.
(maf cleaned and plugged or unplugged results same, Cats removed, no intake leaks or vaccum leaks, TPS checked out)
Fuel gauge spiked past full ( does have new pump asy )
has some exhaust leaks that i suspect are manifold gasket and stud related
trusk has been modifed on.
list of what i know and can see.
truck has been SAS with a jeep dana 30 and leaf sprung
has explorer 8.8 disc brake rear with minispool
3' body lift
and either f150 or older f250 leafs front and rear
my wife traded a sammy for this truck and gave it to me for fathers day and honestly just want to fix it so we can go trail and creek ride with our local friends.
