hey everyone im new to this site from NY bought 96 ranger splash in nov 09 and same day found this forum. it looks excellent.have future plans to V8 swap my truck to give it some 00s.it has 2.3 right now. maybe lower it too.

I've got a '94 2.3 4x4. Those 2.3's are torquely little buggers! I love mine. If you change the oil every 3,000, they're tough to kill!

hopman is right , they are torquey and hard as hell to kill , but it is possible

Glad you finally found alittle blue in your life haha j/k i saw a few post in another thread about your Lt1. whats the specs on it? 1/4 yet? dyno?
good to have another speed freak on TRS.

never raced at track and no dyno but i figure about 300 flywheel. factory rates at 275 and i have CAI with free ram air mod ,flowmaster ext,gutted cat,hyper tech chip,160 t-stat,trickflow elbow,american racing wheels ,thats about it.engine still stock.fast enough to be fun but not scary fast like 8s in1/4

well now you got a daily driver, so you can go all out like some people choose to do...

you should cam it out and put a shot of dope on there and call it a day!
