hey I just found this site and think that it could be an invaluable source for information. I have a late 95 Ext. cab, 3.0 liter,4x4, auto. i got 'er real cheap, I've never owned a truck before and I ever I needed maintenance I would take my car to the garage(not mine, yet) So I was told that trans. fluid additive was recently added and needed time to work into the seals and gaskets to condition them and create a better seals. I have to let off the gas during the shift into 3rd., it has gotten better, not so much of a thunk! I have one other question, I want to change to manual locking hubs, is it as simple as taking the wheel off, taking to hub off the rim, and replacing with locking hub? Well thanks for any help. -Corey

Welcome to TRS :icon_thumby:

I personally couldn't tell you much about the hubs, as I'm no offroader. However the easiest way to get quick responses to that is to post your questions in the 4x4 section of the forums.
