Hopefully someone can help me out... I keep getting all kinds of answers on this question from all kinds of seemingly quite knowledgable people. So I'm a little confused. I have an 07' Ranger XLT 4x4. It is one day destined to be a great ORV... problem is I have little ground clearance. Does anyone know if Superlifts' kit for the 05' Ranger would work on my 07'? Some say yes, some say no...
I love this truck off road though that's for sure. I've already got a 3" body lift on it, 31" TSL tires, K&N FIPK II air intake, throttle body spacer, Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, and a Superchip programmer. It excels in mud, not so great in snow deeper than 6", and I have yet to find a hill that is too steep for it to climb. But, due to my ground clearance I am quite limited when it comes to climbing over rocks.
Also, this may be an ignorant question... but will a suspension lift give my suspension more articulation when crossing uneven terrain? I'm assuming because it's top-heavy it feels like it wants to roll over any time I try to cross something with more than a 25% angle....
thanks
