sorry its so long.

hey got me a new radio in today, sounds awesome with my speakers but only problem is i cant operate the damn thing b/c the bottom half of the screen dont work, and i bought it new in box from amazon.com, got here origianl packageing on everything, wired it up turn on the truck and half of the screen turns on, but other than that i got it in and sounds amazing, now once i tune it good with my settings of bass and such it would be good, just gotta get a new face plate, it should be under warranty right? its a pioneer premier and brand new out of box. well tell me what you think

As long as you got reciept and UPC you should be good for warranty. Best way to find out is contact amazon. Nice lookin din.

Ask A-5 Freak how quick pioneer is on their warranty work, hes been waiting on his pioneer amp that came in d.o.a for months now. I dont think it will take them that long but if you have to send your faceplate in first it would suck.

yeah amazon should have there own warranty on the headunit. contact them and have them send ya another unit.

yepp, pioneer was of no help, they said to contact them too, i contacted the amazon seller and they were really helpfull they said just ship it back and you'll have a new one in about 10 days easy.

as good as any company is, there all out to save themselves.

they only CARE about SELLING and MAKING MONEY. they dont care if you get a bum deal out of it. they just care aobut making the quickest deal possible,

yeah i hate big companies dont care about the consumer, luckly my dad works for fedex here at the world headquarters in memphis so he gets a 75% discount on shippin so i just dropped it off at the drop off center and got it shipped fedex2day for 7.38 lol
i know your gettin the same headunit correct blackwidow? its a pretty good unit as far as i can tell sounds good, ipod sounds and works great even though i couldnt see the screen.

yeah i like that first one its pretty nice, but i like the pioneer one so far eventhough it was defective, hopefully ill have another in about a week

im a diehard pioneer guy, but im not liking some of the new stuff there coming out with, plus for the money, kenwood offers so much more.

im waiting on that second one in my list along with 4 of those blaupunkt 2 way speakers for my 300zx turbo.

i had pioneer 3 ways in there, but didnt like them at all, no bass, and distort with the bass on my headunit set to 5, hopefully those blaupunkts will let me go all the way to 6 and still be loud

okay soo i got my money back from amazon, went and bought a new one from best buy today, more expensive, but no wait and an easy return,

and i got pulled over today 62 in a 45.... but got out of the ticket.
