New pictures

I was thinking the same thing. I even looked them up to see how much they would run me.

I already knew how much mine would cost. I just don't have the money to fix anything. They just moved up on my list of stuff I'm saving for.

then get em fixed. how much are the ball joints anyways. less that $50 for all the ones I need for the Suburban.

time to go to a junk yard, springs are cheap and you need the ball joints before the alignment. infact if you fix the warn ball joints you find you don't need an alignment. Ball joints fixed 90% of the problems on my toyota's front end.

Wicked, those pictures make me want to repair mine.

they say a picture is worth a thousand words. some people need to see the end result of their actions before they'll believe it.

theres no excuse for driving around in an unsafe vehicle. if you cant afford very basic repair and maintainence items such as ball joints...take the bus.

we all knew our vehicles would cost us money. in fact, thats all any personal vehicles ever do. they never MAKE you money. when you signed the title you took responsibility for that vehicle and if you cant pony up the cash to keep it safe for yours and everyone elses sake then you shouldnt be driving it.

+1,000,000,000,000,000

you know what would happen if one of my trucks got in an accident and suspension components are found to be worn out/broken........ some lawyer would own 40% of my assets.........

And 100% of your ass as well

We just spent 1200dollars on a brand new front end (upper & lower control arms + balljoints) a few months ago.

I, nor my mother, can afford to fix the truck yet again.

I realize it is dangerous, that is why I have been trying to avoid driving. Sticking to the Jeep as much as I can.

nope, I am incorporated, they would just get corporate assets. i said 40% because thats the cut for a trial lawyer....... who ever sued would get 30% because 30% would go to taxes.............

Then don't drive it, period. Knowingly driving a dangerous vehicle and getting into an accident is the same as pulling the trigger (and should carry the same penalty, does in some states). because you have mentioned it on a forum board there is now a trail that you know the vehicle is dangerous. Don't drive it ..... if you just spent $1200 on front end why were the ball joints not done ......... they are not that much and not that hard to change........ I have to ride my bike when something is wrong with my Toyota and the minivan (because I am not allowed to park 1 of my tractors here ...... not even allowed to bring the service truck here ...... stupid zoning laws).

i think the real question here is: "why are your balljoints bad again already". either you were abusing the truck, or there is a fault in the quality of the components or workmanship....in which case i would march my broke-ass right back down to the shop that did the work and make them fix it properly.

theres no reason you shouldnt get over 75,000 miles out of replacement balljoints.

:fie:

That's mostly because the front is 5 inches lower than the rear.. majorly sagging springs.

We didn't take it to the shop.

I (did) abuse the truck, we all know this.

A whole new upper control arm with balljoint is only $50 and about an hour to change with basic hand tools...

i need mines done with front shocks, but i heard its a beatch to install and shops want alot of mulah to do the repair, i look at mine and my wheels are tilted a little bit and grey ghost i took some offense saying that the bumper was the least of her worries i belived i asked her not YOU cause my truck and some other mazdas of our age have the same lisp, maybe she knows why, i would ask you but doubt you'd know, you dont own a mazda or an stx, so i just wasted my breath
