whats up with your front driver wheel? i would say you need an alignment but its only that one tire something broke?

She said it's her ball joint and that she doesn't care about fixing it.

Seems like that's her attitude about most safety things.

haveing a ball joint let go at 60mph will suck, i hope it wont pitch the truck on its roof

WOW seriously. im glad she lives in FL. ill be sure to stay away from there. and god bless the family she takes someones life from.

If not that, throw her into the oncoming lane killing innocent people.
or herself

then peolpe wonder why our insurance rates cost more than our loan payments
kate, your bumper sags too?

at this point that's the least of her worries. do everyone a favor and get this stuff repaird or changed before it's someone's 3 year old that gets injured or worse killed:icon_surprised:

Awsome pics. but I must say if are not worried about that ball joint (as some are saying, cause I didn't read that anywhere) think about this, you will pay through the roof on what ever happens, be it falling off on the highway (someone suing you cause your vehicle wasn't in proper working order which killed there kid, the medical bills and insurance for a good while as well) or getting it repaired way later (the tires need replaced cause they wore out in a year or a month, all the other suspension components that will wear unevenly and will need replaced, and shop labor) either way It will probably have you paying someone money (alot of money), please fix it now, looking good only matters if the vehicle is in perfect working order. I would get to fixing all of the vital problems befor you think about making it look good, cause In my opinion a POS that runs like a dream is way better then a truck that looks good but is falling apart underneath.

yeah get that ball joint fixed, get that ball joint fixed, get that ball joint fixed. you could do it yourself in less than an hour.

you know my trucks have to be inspected every year.......... why no safety inspections on passenger vehicles.

i can't speak for other states but in pennsyvina we have inspections once a year and things like this will be checked and will fail an inspection. but it should be the driver's responcibility to make sure it's safe more often..

knowing it's bad and not fixing it is just :lame:

ball joint failures...no biggie....

yeah, glad the one on my suburban broke while I was backing it out of the driveway., and that wasn't even a ball joint, it was the joint for the tie rod, all I lost was my steering, no big deal.......... it could have broke at 55 mph on the hwy and killed everybody in the car.

She said it on RF:

Not trying to start shit, just showing where I saw her say it.

Seriously, just get it fixed. It's money, but still, you plan on putting a motor into it, why not fix it?

I had my ball joints replaced on my Ranger last winter, along with a ton of other front end work, including a rebuild on my hub. $390 some odd dollars. But I feel a hell of a lot safer knowing it's fixed.
