These are from Dec 1st, we had a gathering at a peice of private property in
Upper/Lower Michigan's Penisula. We gathered to convince the owner that he
could make a profit if he opened a ORV park. The event came off without a hitch and we impressed the owner and he WILL be opening the park and building obstacles etc.....This park is called OSTC (its a motocross park) and is in Rose City, MI
i didn't get a chance to talk with these guys, but that truck had no damage to it when it arrived and i know they also lost a LF joint/shaft
i also lost an LF joint and later found the shaft broke as well,
i also limped a leaky slave cyl all day (had to keep adding fluid
my buddy junkyard dog also had some carnage and busted the bottom of the coil where it retains the washer, amd later had starting problems
These are from "The Mounds" in Flint, MI on Dec 2nd. We hit this county owned park before heading home after the OSTC event
no this is not my old explorer, we often refer to this one as "Mini Me" cause it
is smaller then what mine was and looks like its twin. He does however have quite a few of my old Ex parts on this rig now
They (my buddy in a XJ, YJ, and Ex sport) went down this 2track which snaked through a swamp pretty much, and found it ended in an impassable spot so they needed to back out and while trying to back out, the EX got hung up against a tree and the others could not get pass due to sliding into the EX. So we/i spent several hours recovering them from this spot. I was the only one not to follow them back on this trail. I was off helping another rig get off a tree when they called for help.
