New/old summer toys

The fiance and I received these from her mom for a wedding present!

The red is 97 Kawasaki 1100 STX and the yellow is a 97 Sea-doo XP. Now the bad news is the sea-doo doesn't run... It has paperwork on it saying that the Mpem needs to be changed, but after doing some trial and error on it I found that the stator was blowing the 5 amp fuse at the Mpem when it gets plugged in. Anyone know anything about these?

The Doo already is... This picture was taken right before we moved it to cut the grass. I'll be chasing the electrical gremlin this weekend with my new multimeter.

Got it running! Turned out to be a diode on the main computer got fried from the PO from jumping it with a running vehicle.
