For some reason I could not get my old username working....forgot the p/w and gave up. So here I am with a new name. You may remember me from this........http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122052
I still have this truck but fell off the Ranger wagon for a little while. Built a foxbody mustang, then a fox t-bird and sold them both.........and back on the Ranger wagon. The blue truck got some changes. It now carries a stroked 351 to 387 inches, more cam, more convertor and a PA Comp C4 trans. Rear tires are also larger...dumped the 275-60 BFG's and stepped up to MT ET's in a 325/50. The hook awesome and the new stance is killer. On a mild tune, vacuum carb, 3.55 gears and 325's it went 12.50 @ 105. On shorter 26" tires it went 12.20 @ 109 w/ a 1.65 short time. This summer I'm going to get it shorted out on a chassis dyno and run into the 11's with the vac carb and 325's.
My interest in coming back on the site stems from the newest build. Going to do another V8 ranger but this time with a EFI 5.0 and T5. 1984 chassis, 1993 cab, and driveline from a 1988 Mustang. Satin grey w/ all black trim is the planned color combo. I'll get some build pics up soon.
Until then.......
