New member here I'm a wolf handler originally from NW Louisiana everyone calls me "Fox" Marine Corps nickname. I've had 3 rangers currently a 99 XLT stick shift 3.0L V6 I had a 88 with the 2.0L and a 02 that I donated to the wolf sanctuary. I was building the 99 for the sanctuary but it's a stick and the owner is older so would have trouble with a standard trans so I just bought a 02 with a auto trans to rebuild and I will keep the 99 as a 2nd vehicle because I prefer a manual trans. My other vehicles are a 2000 Mazda Miata SE a 2011 Suzuki Hayabusa and a 09 Suzuki GZ-250.

The pic in my avatar is me giving a wolf named Blue a kiss on the nose. The 99 gave bad problems when I lost the only key I had (see PATS system) after months of trying to figure out how to get around the pats I finally took it to a dealer and they couldn't connect to the pats module an I tried replacing the pcm and pats module and still nothing so I just replaced the pcm with one from a 98 pre pats. I still have a bit of work to do to the 99 and 02 sold the 88 for cheap to a guy who wanted a father son project. The 02 the seller is delivering it to me Saturday it has transmission problems so I got it cheap.

Some pics I found of my 88 had bad damage to the mid passenger side. Wish I never sold it rather have an 88 than the 99 thats mine now. Had the carbed 2.0L and 5 speed of course I hate automatics. The 02 I'm building that is auto is not for me. Would have to ditch the 2.0L anyone that's drove one knows why but I did like that it was carbed. Body damage I could have easily fixed by welding in new panels as the frame wasn't damaged. Paint I can do interior no problem (I've frame off restored cars by myself). But I did sell it for more than I paid guy bought it for his son for a father son project and made an offer.
