I own a 1986 Ford Ranger.6cyl.2.9. This truck runs great all winter long----first 80 degree weather and it up and quits.Acts like it isn't getting fuel. Then when it cools down runs great again:bawling:Now it is using water like crazy and I don't see any visible leaks !! HELP.Female in trouble with truck :dunno:

Perhaps the TFI Module? when it's dead, is there a spark at all?

Sounds a lot like this could be it...it was very common for these trucks. I was burned by it myself! Search around, there's tons of stuff on it.
