New member with 2.2 Perkins

Hi, last week I bought two 84 rangers with the 2.2l Perkins Diesel engines with 4 speed manuals. One with 102,000 and the other 20,000 miles (yes I know, really low miles). The one with 20,000 is more of a parts truck because it has no bed, and the cab is really beat up. I was given a 89 cab that I could put on it with the sale. The owner I got both trucks from hit a deer with the other one last year, and gave me all the parts to fix it minus hood latch assembly, misc. nuts/bolts, radiator cap, and headlight assemblies. I plan on picking up the rest of the parts tomorrow and get it ready for paint by the weekend. I'm having problems finding information on these trucks with these engines. Does anyone know if the bell housing would line up to a 5 speed? Any insight from someone on these trucks trucks would be appreciated. Thanks, Preston

I guess I kind of forgot the basics on an intro lol. I'm located in northern Indiana, and I'm attending college at Indiana University South Bend. This truck is not my first diesel, but it is my first ford. I'm looking forward to learning as much as possible from here. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.
