Hello everyone.@ It's great to finally be logged in on this forum with such a wealth of knowledge and shared experiences surrounding Ford Ranger ownership. I only recently created an account, but I've been an avid reader for quite some time.@ I often stop by just to see what familiar members have been doing with their Rangers and where those projects have ended up months, or sometimes even years later.@ It's easily my favorite forum on the internet.@ Anyway, I currently own three Ford Rangers: a 1986 4x4 STX, a 1994 XL, and a 1996 XL. They're all regular cab, short bed, manual transmission trucks.@ My Ranger journey started with the 1996 back in 2022, and it didn't take long before I added two more to the collection.@ I quickly realized just how awesome these trucks are because of their simplicity and reliability, and parts are (usually) easy to find.

______________--------My 1996 Ranger with mismatched body panels, purely utilitarian.
I've put a lot of time into the two trucks shown.@ Their interiors and exteriors have been brought back to like new condition, the frames have been cleaned and painted, and I've taken care of both the necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on the drivetrains.@ As of 2026, both Rangers are pretty close to their original factory appearance, with only minimal deviations from stock.
I documented most of the work along the way and recently condensed the past few years of photos and videos into a 20 minute movie that showcases each truck's transformation from start to finish.@ If you have time, please check it out!
