hello, have been looking at this site for a while sold my first Bronco II do to needs of better fuel mileage (got a zx2) finally got another 1988 Bronco II to play with. it has Blow head gaskets so it was cheap. drivetrain is 2.9, 5 speed, manual t-case. Gonna replace it with 1978 300 straight six, ZF-5, NP205. Have all parts needed. I'm sure i'll have lots of questions and i'll keep updates on me progress. Love the BII's

Welcome to the Station! Have you done the measurements to make sure that the old 300 will fit? Seems like a neat swap if you do it.

I'll Be tight, I might have to "re-adjust" the firewall and transmission tunnel but this is why i'm not starting with a BII that is in nice condition
