New member from Washington State! '89 Ranger

Hi there. My name is Dow. I've got an '89 Ranger 4x4 2.9L that I've owned the last 5 years, 2nd owner. Truck had 130,000 original miles on it, with 80,000 on a Ford warrantied/rebuilt engine. I just hit 212,000 last week and she's still a' goin'. She's got some blemishes, but I keep her clean, and maintain her as good as I would any other rig, she's my daily driver. I changed the oil on this old 2.9 every 4,000, and I keep it topped off, don't want any issues with this problematic oiling system. i'd like to keep this old rig on the road another 10 years, but I've been having tranny issues...Mitsubishi Fm146...I'll ask about it in another post. i'm glad to be here and hope to learn...and maybe possibly contribute....I've used the info. in this forum more many years, but never joined until now. I'll post a picture of the truck in the morning tomorrow.
