Hi there, My name is Dusten. I live in Manitoba, Canada. Iv been a fan of rangers and ranger like trucks for awhile now. iv owned 2 1987 super cab 2.9s, one was one I bought from my sister for 300 a few years back, was a 2wd auto. The tranny ended up giving out on e the first trip I took with it, the truck sat for awhile then ended up takin her in for scrap. the second one I still have I just bought it in September its a 4x4 5 speed. iv always loved the first gen rangers love the front end. iv also owned a 1991 ford explorer xlt had a 6'' lift and 33'' tires plus a few other mods including complete sound system, high output alternator re geared diffs grill guard etc. unfortunately the truck got written off for having mice in it. miss that old girl she was a trooper. also I bought a 1994 ford explorer for parts because I though I needed an engine but the one in the parts truck was not as good as it seemed, that truck went to the scrap yard after I was done. Also in the spring time im accuring a 1992 ranger super cab buddy of mine built with a 351, its 2wd automatic. it needs work but would be a great street truck. anyways glad to be a part of the forum and hope to learn lots from you guys/gals and hope I get my own build log going as im slowly working on my 87.
