Hello everyone, I have been looking at this website for a long time so I figured it was time to join, my name is Nick.

Last year I bought a 1989 Ranger XLT 4x4 with the 2.9 and FM146 trans with 103,000 miles, which will soon be replaced in the spring with a 5.0L and AOD trans from a 89 Town Car. Hopefully I can gain some knowledge from some of the other members on this site to help me accomplish this goal.

I will be keeping it 4wd by using a tailshaft housing adapter from Advance Adapters to bolt the BW 1350 t-case to the AOD.
