Hello

I’m new to Rangers but not exactly ford pickups. I previously had a ‘96 F150 Eddie Bauer edition.

I just bought a 2002 Ranger XLT 4 cylinder 5 speed off a friend. It has 217k miles and needs a clutch job. Tons of fun ahead

She needs a little paintwork on the roof but other than that it’s pretty solid. The bed has a little bit of damage by the tail light on the left side I hope I can pound out.

Only plan really have for it other than the clutch job is a bed liner either roll on or raptor liner, a 2/3 drop, and an Apple CarPlay head unit. Maybe different wheels Togo with the drop too. Nothing outlandish, maybe some mustang wheels, I need inspiration.

Welcome to TRS!

That's a beautiful truck and it sounds like you have your plans worked out already. (y)

Thanks! I’ll get more pictures later when I start my build/repair documentation thread. Already need to get a new radio bezel and figure out why the ac only comes from the defrost. Might be a vacuum line, hope it’s not previous owner hacks from putting in the radio.

I also need to hit up the junkyard and get misc nuts and bolts for the truck. Maybe better seat rails as the driver side is all rusted from what looks like a precious water leak.

She looks good from 10’ but I plan on making her a nice little truck over the years. Cheap insurance means I’ll hold onto it forever.
