Hello, just want to say hi, as I will be lurking the forum for some turbo swap info. I recently bought this 91 reg cab 2wd, and cant wait to get some more power under the hood! Its a 4cyl 5spd currently, and it has 52k origional miles, and is tottaly rust free, as it was in texas untill about 2 years ago. Its got a ton of suspension work done to it, and it only needs to be lowered for that side of the truck to be finished. I have an 86 merkur XR4TI with a 5 spd to use as a donor for my turbo swap. I just re-did the head on the merkur, so its fresh and ready for the ranger.

Thanks in advance for all the help and info! I look forward to my build and sharing it with you guys.

Brian

Its got a small kicker sub with a 200w amp, a pair of tweets up on the rear window, and some pioneer speakers in the doors. I sold the previous owner my old cobra rims, and he put them on the truck, and bought the truck shortly after that.

welcome...what part of maine are you in...i am around the auburn area. and i do like your truck. if need a rear bumper i have a few laying around the farm

Im in newport, so just a hop and a jump away from you. Dont think im looking for a bumper right now. Its leagal without it, and I kinda like the look, but you never know. Thanks for the welcome!

Sharp looking Ranger. I'm down near the Concord, NH area.
One of thses days I'll get around to posting some pix of my '94 4x4.

Thanks guys! I enjoy it alot. Too bad I think my friend just fried the 2.3 out of it. But thats just more motavation for the turbo swap! :headbang: Some better tint and a 2/3 drop, and Ill be pretty happy with it. Now to save some dough up for the swap!

Welcome fellow Mainer! I live in Gorham. I've been to Newport for a Dunkin Donuts picnic. :icon_rofl:

if i had that i would get your self a winter beater and park that for the winter....ranger plus rust belt equals bye bye rear shackles

Yea, she will be in the barn at my wifes parents house in the next couple of weeks. Definatly not a winter truck, espically with thouse wheels and tires, lol. And working at a Ford dealership for amost 5 years, ive seen the rear shackles come out of parts like hot cakes up here.

I live less than 1/2 mile from DD's lol.

Got my splash ranger locking 3.73 rear end in there now, so snow would be even more fun!

Damn youre about 15-20 minutes away from me.

Welcome aboard fellow Mainer! :icon_thumby:
