Hey guys. Im new to the site and I need some good advise from some smart people!!
Ive got an 86 Mustang SVO and I was thinkin about pickin up a 98 ranger. I'm gettin a good deal on it so I figured I would do it. I was thinking about putting the 2.3T motor in the ranger since the stang is in rough shape. The ranger has a 2.5L 5-speed. I heard somewhere that its a pain to do the swap in a 98 for some reason. Can anybody tell me why?
I have a full Mustang SVO, FYI. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if I should put this in another area, but sorry to the Admin. in adance if I messed up.

Thanks,
Josh

Welcome to the site. As for your motor question it depends on the use. If you're looking for power then a 2.3 motor swap probably wouldn't be your first choice. More along the lines of a 4.0 swap or a V8 swap. If you're looking for mileage the 2.5 is a great little engine. Gets in the 20s range and is resilient as hell.

Huh?! The Turbo 2.3 motor wouldnt be beter then V8with some mods?
