Well welcome first off. Being a two wheel, just keep it a sharp looking truck, droop it or do the V-8 swap, way too many options.

I'd start with making it run and drive nice. Then fix the rust and body issues it may have. Then start doing custom stuff. I agree with post above me, drop it a little and maybe put a 302 or something like that off in it if your wanting a hot rod.

My favorite color combo; grey with silver. I would agree with TR, make it run nice and be reliable and then address the rust. After that, whatever your wallet can afford!
