whats up guys, just got my FIRST FORD. well, its only my second vehicle.

but i never thought i would end up in a ford.

my other car is an 02 grand prix GTP. supercharged with some bolt ons.

needed a truck, found an 07 ranger that fit the description.

very low miles, and flawless all around. couldnt be passed up.

now my question is, what can i do to this thing to beef it up a bit?

engine mods? (4.0L)

and what kinds of appearance mods can i find for this thing..

my searches on ebay havent got me very far.

i cant wait to learn more about these trucks.

as far as the 4.0 goes theres a bolt on S/C kit for it, that would be pretty cool to have GTP and a supercharged Ranger. But if your not looking to go that far with it, Search for Bama chips Tuning, they sell an SCT tuner for the 4.0.

Just stick around the board and you'll learn plenty about these trucks quick.

ah, one more big question.

i was looking for some aftermarket headlights and tails, and i cant find anything when i search for 07's

would headlights and tails for the 05's work?

Idk, personally i don't think spending $200+ for an aftermarket intake is worth it on a stock or close to stock truck, theres really no power to be had there. Same goes for the exhaust, unless you want the sound and look of an aftermarket setup, then go for it.

IMO the best place to start is a Tuner, Ford is really conservative with there tuning. When my pops put a tune in his '05 F-150 he went from running 17.3 in the 1/4 mile to a 16.5! (and yes he accutaly took it to the dragstrip lol)

yeah, the whole truck had to grow on me lol

but now, i LOVE it!
