Hello all. I am new to the site as well as new to owning a ranger/truck. I have come from the "import" scene I guess you could call it.. I previously owned a 97 eclipse gst and I currently have a 93 eclipse gs, I hate calling it a import because of the bad rep that comes along with owning and driving one, but I try not to be one of those type. I dont have any obnoxious wings, neons, unnecessary large exhaust, etc etc. I try to keep it looking nice not all "ricey" as most people like to say.
A little bit about myself, I am a Sound Competitor. I have competed in all three major sound organizations and been to World Finals in IASCA and USACI, Won Region Points for USACI in 2007, Won MECA Georgia State Finals in 2008. I am also a IASCA certified judge for SQ and IDBL.
I acquired the new to me Ranger from a fellow local competitor. I think he may have been a member on here but not sure if he is or not. I know he has linked me a couple of threads off this forum from before I got the truck and thats how I knew of the site.
The Truck is a 1998 Ranger XLT Ext. Cab., Its White with a blue-ish stripe down the side, has 17" Eagle Alloys, Street Scene Mirrors, Painted Interior Accents. All of which were done before I acquired the Truck. Some of the Modifications I have done since I got it are, Color Matched the Front and Rear Ford Emblems, Put a Alpine 9831 Headunit in, Painted Brake Calipers, Dropped it 4/5 with the DJM 4/5 Drop Kit. I also bought a set of 18" Saleen Wheels off a local guy but having some issues getting them on the truck...
Thats pretty much it for now, I have plans to do alot more to it as time and money permits but so far I am liking my little ranger. I am Including a couple pictures here of my current eclipse, and a couple of pics of the Ranger from when I first got it and a couple of bad pics from my cell phone of it lowered. And yeah there's alot of stuff in the bed in one of the pics but I had just finished lowering it and was going to haul off the boxes from the kit, and theres a cherry picker that I was taking back home from letting my dad borrow it.
^^ My Ranger and Eclipse at a Local Show a couple weeks after I got it ^^
And Below is After the 4/5 Drop
