ok, i just installed a 3 inch body lift on my 2006 ranger. I also did a torsion bar crank to level the truck out and get a little extra lift. ive seen on most threads that i shouldnt have any problem running 33's but none state how wide i can go. i dont know if it doesnt matter but i figured i should check with some more experienced people before making a purchase. i want to run 33x12.5 on a 15x10 rim. would there be any problems that my occur such as caliper rub due to going down an inch from my stock 16 inch rim or tire rub going with a 12.5 wide tire. thanks for any advice?

Hi, welcome to TRS. You should really start with an intro thread with some pictures as well as a little light reading. (most folk consider it rude to ask for free help as a new member with no introduction or even a "hello").

If you do a little research on your truck, you'd learn there was a FX4 Level 2 package that was available with 15" Alcoa wheels and 31x10.50 tires from the factory. They didn't "downsize" the brakes on the beefed-up off-road model, so that'd say "no brake rubbing with 15" rims"...

You can also read up on the rim offset to see what offset is required to prevent rubbing with the tire size you want to run. Just about all tire/rim size combos have been tried and documented, it's just a matter of searching and reading.

Enjoy the party!

Welcome,
you'll be fine. I have 4" lift with 15x10 3.75" backspace
33x12.5x15.

My truck came with 16".
