New headlight assembly

As the title suggests, I'm looking to get a new assembly for my 99. My current assemblys are yellowing/fading and I want brighter. I'm not leaning towards going HID, but i would like to get eouro/ clear style. I'm looking to buy something thats quality, not cheap crap that will fade in a year. Who makes good assemblys that last?

I'm not aware of anything in the aftermarket that isn't manufactured overseas.

TYC is Chinese, I believe that Dorman's product is as well, what you find for new lamps on ebay is Chinese made, if you search you'll find a few reasonable priced lamps that are new. At that price it's not a big loss if they too milk with age.

Then there's always the *custom* crystal clear headlamps housings.

Personally I'd choose LED's over HID's, I've used them both but find the LED's easier on the original housings where the aim of the beam is concerned. HID's just go everywhere, but these newer LED's with multiple sided filaments will aim easier seeing as not all of the filaments light up when on low beam.
