New guy with 88 ranger highboy

Hey everyone! I wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I'm Tim I just picked up an 88 stx ranger highboy for winter and some fun in the mud. I'll be asking some questions for sure. I don't have pics of the truck yet but I will post some soon. I'm not new to fords. I also have an 89gt that im restoring and I have 03 cobra for summer fun. Glad to be here and I hope to learn some info about my new toy.

Hey guys just updating my thread. I have pics but I need to load them on my laptop. Little info on what's going on with the truck. I got it home on Thursday. I got new tires Friday 31-10.50r15 bfg mud terrain km2's. They look awesome on the truck. I did some more looking and found it has a 1.5" or 2" body lift. I did not measure it yet. It needed cleaned bad so my cousin and I gave her a good bath yesterday. Today I started working on the brakes because they do not work. Some of the brake lines are rusted threw. I took the left rear apart and sandblasted the backing plate, drum and some hardware then primed and painted it. On the todo list... Take apart the right rear brake sandblast prime and paint. Remove the bed to find out what's going on with the fuel gauge(not working) and replace fuel pump. Replace brake line from t-block to rear axle. Sandblast prime and paint the frame, suspension, hitch... And so on. Run new fuel line if needed. Replace exhaust. Unbolt and block up cab to sandblast prime and paint front part of the frame and suspension. Replace front rotors, pads, lines, and rebuild calipers. Tune up and oil change. I'll have pics of all this. Lots of work ahead of me lol.
