Hi!

I'm the owner of a 2003 Mazda b4000 I was replacing the stock exhaust system with a Magnaflow and the upstream flange on the Magnaflow cat is no match for the flange on the y-pipe collector.

Both from above.

The Magna flow which does not match the stock collector.

and the stock flange.

Both side by side.

Can I replace the y-pipe with another one from another model of ranger so I could use the Magnaflow cat? What year/model of ranger would fit that application?

Any ideas as to why the magnaflow does not match? The Magnaflow part # was correct for a 2003 b4000 Mazda.

Has anybody ever noticed a difference between said flanges?

Thanks in advance for your help. :icon_thumby:

cheers

Is it my glasses or is your camera crap? Anyway, I would just make a new flange and weld it on.

It looks as if you have a 98-00 flange on there (part# 23541)....definitely the wrong part number. You need part# 93170.
