I just read it from beginning to end and holy crap it is awesome!

Excellent build but you put that switch in upside-down, for shame

you might also want to check your panhard(sp) bar, try to get it level as possible if it is leaning down too much, what is happening is when you hit the brakes, and the suspension loads up, it is pushing the axle over to one side.

Yeah thats what what caused the driveshaft problem here. Did the best i could to make to panhard bar straight but clearance issues made it impossible. I will take some pictures of how close it is when i flex it out.

I just spent like an hour and a half reading through this build... this rig is awesome! Good to see everything was built by you (for the most part) and all. I bet that rig's going to be pretty fun off-road!

Thanks, and yeah i know that switch is upside-down It was either upside down of have the face of the switch pointed downward. Just realized the other day though that it really doesnt matter, thats the rear window wiper switch and the rear window is...gone

Had an awesome weekend of work.

Heres what i got done:
-straightened the frame
-added some plates to the miter cuts in the radius arms
-removed the A/C components which freed up a TON of space
-relocated the battery mount to where the A/C was
-redesigned and built the mount for the upper arm that the driveshaft hit
-put a shorter locknut and cut down the thread on the radius arm frame mount
-built some guards for the fittings going in to the hydraulic ram to keep them protected
-reindexed the driveshaft yokes so that they are correctly in phase

I will get some pictures sometime. I was too tired to tonight haha

yeah still have 4.10s in the axles. Need some numerically higher gears, looking at 5.38s eventually but it works like this so its stay like this til i can save up
